The client aims to transform development and L3 support operations by establishing a strategic partnership with GlobalLogic, aiming to set up self sufficient pods to support cross-portfolio initiatives, including sustenance of current platforms and also evolving their products through the modernization of the tech-stack and implementation of advance data analytics and microservices-based solutions.
Requirements:
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR relevant equivalent technical experience.
6+ years of front-end and back-end engineering experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience building production-grade, scalable back-end systems with Node.js
Experience building robust React-based front-ends with Redux, hooks, or components
Ability to design, document and lead the implementation of robust FE-BE application architecture
Experience building scalable microservices
Experience with building services in NodeJS
Solid software design knowledge – you should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.
Strong fundamentals in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
Strong fundamentals in git and the command line (such as Linux, bash, zsh, etc)
You have the skills to create a UI without the help of a framework like Bootstrap or Foundation
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first principles
Experience with web accessibility
Experience building RESTful APIs
Experience with relational databases (we use Postgres)
Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting
Able to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Functional Programming
Nice to Have:
Proficiency interacting with RESTful APIs and/or websockets APIs
Proficiency with Node.js back-end code.

Overview
We’re looking for a full stack engineer specializing in server-side components and React frontends. In this role, you’ll be working with Javascript, Node.js, and React. On any given day you might be architecting new features for our customers, refactoring existing code to be more scalable, or writing automated tests. Our product is a search portal for public records. The system is built on a modern dev stack with modern dev practices.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to write code, will consistently learn new things, and will contribute to a positive atmosphere. The candidate should be self-guiding while also contributing to team design and discussion.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and maintain fast, robust, and maintainable micro-services and React applications.
•Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests and automated tests and performing code reviews.
•Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products.
•Participate in regular code reviews
•Exchange knowledge with the team to help everyone level-up their skills
•Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
•Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
•Share knowledge and learnings with the team to develop best practices for building scalable and reliable web services
