Senior DevOps Engineer IRC238009

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop platform solutions alongside other platform engineers, often through pairing, and platform product manager;

• Develop and implement cloud-based solutions and services for use by software development teams across the Client’s enterprise

• Collaborate with internal customers of the platform (eg. software development teams) to understand their needs, develop services that closely meet the customer needs, and support internal customers with onboarding and advice throughout their use of the platform

• Incorporate industry standards in software development and cloud infrastructure development and standard tools, eg. Test-Driven Development, Extreme Programming, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform or Cloud Formation, Agile, and Lean software practices, and User-Centered Design methodologies to execute on platform-as-a-product implementation and operations

• Committed to delivering high quality, high value, maintainable software in the hands of users quickly by working side-by-side with other software engineers, product managers, and platform customers 

• Present ideas and technical content to an audience with a broad range of experience
