Description:
Due to intensive growth in Japanese market, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite a Technical Translator to become part of the GlobalLogic Automotive team.
The project goal is to design and develop a next generation of the Automotive AD/ADAS platform for a major Japanese Tier 1. It is designed to combine the best-in-class technologies and solutions to develop an innovative platform that will be customized and deployed at multiple OEMs world-wide. As a member of the team you will contribute towards this goal by ensuring a smooth collaboration between stakeholders in various geographies, streamlining communication exchange & translating required documentation as needed. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence work conditions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Technical Translator /Writer in IT industry
- A basic understanding of software development terminology
- Ability to understand technical documentation
- Fluent Japanese and English skills
- Very good communication skills
- Strong intercultural competence
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in meetings & translate between Japanese & English languages
- Communicate with Japanese stakeholders to get required inputs from them or brief them on project updates
- Translate technical documentation between English & Japanese languages
