In order to be considered for the position, you possess a solid experience in an Agile Coach role tied to Technical Software Development or IT Project Management. You are experienced in working with Distributed Teams and Agile tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Crucible. You have experience in working in strict time-boxed iterations with adaptive planning using prioritized worklists. Should you possess pertinent Certifications, such as Scrum Professional, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Trainer, that will be considered an asset that further qualifies your application for the position.
As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for supporting multiple Scrum teams to improve their performance and increase their velocity in completing their assignments in a successful manner. You will also coach all roles as defined in the Scrum guide. You will be responsible for developing a stronger and deeper Agile culture throughout the organization. In addition, you will help teams focus and manage their priorities, as well as improve their Agility Maturity level.
You are capable of building and maintaining visible project dashboards and charts on progress and status. You will create appropriate tracking and performance metrics aimed at encouraging the Team to work and get things done. Moreover, you understand the value of commitment to delivery, the value of metrics, as well as backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition. Last but not least, you are familiar with common Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
As an Agile Coach, you will be committed to ensuring that GlobalLogic Scrum Teams are properly aligned with the delivery process of the client, and deliver software in a sustainable way. In particular, you will be accountable for:
- Ensuring that Scrum Teams have solid ability to work as Scrum Teams
- Aligning the client’s process to local Scrum teams’ processes
- Ensuring That Teams are on track for Agile Release Train Delivery Goals/Objectives
- Ensuring that Plannings (both PI Plannings and Sprint Plannings) are providing a sufficient level of delivery confidence
- Solving initial organizational impediments before they reach Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Observing and reacting to organizational challenges and SAFe local and project-wide implementation issues/risks.
- Working with Scrum Teams on understanding concepts and tools of SAFe and Scrum
- Navigating Scrum Masters and Product Owners through SAFe complexity
- Clarifying impediment resolution path for Teams
- Ensuring transparency of Teams gaps, skills and problems
- Establishing and enforcing efficient Scrum alignment/communication sessions
- Day to Day coaching to ensure a sufficient maturity level of agile methodologies
