Description:
We are looking to hire a person for the role of Agile/Scrum Master with a proven track record of guiding teams in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-class software development projects. We are looking for an individual who can coach multiple teams with varying levels of Agile & Scrum experience especially while working with Japan and CEE-based teams.

Requirements:
Must have:
- Written and spoken Japanese language proficiency (equivalent of JLPT N1 or N2, it is not mandatory to have an official JLPT certification)
- Written and spoken English language proficiency (the equivalent of B2 or higher)
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills (working with Japan and CEE-based teams)
- Prior experience in Scrum Master or a similar role
- Understanding of iterative software development processes & procedures fundamentals
- Goal-oriented attitude (delivery commitments, metrics, customer communication)
- Familiarity with basic common Agile practices and service-oriented environments
Nice to have:
- Scrum Professional, Scrum Master, Product Owner or Trainer certifications
- Hands-on work experience with distributed teams and Agile tools e.g. Jira and/or Confluence
- Building and maintaining project dashboards and charts on progress and status
- Experienced working in strictly time-boxed iterations
- Facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Planning Sessions, Stand Ups, Reviews, Retrospectives), Backlog Refinement and User Story Workshops
- Openness to work with Japanese culture
Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively teaching and coaching all roles as defined in the Scrum Guide, as well as organizational stakeholders and executives
- Supporting 3 Scrum teams to increase their Velocity and become high-performing
- Developing a stronger and deeper Agile culture throughout the organization
- Helping teams to focus on ‘first things first’ while enabling conflict resolution
- Improving the Agile Maturity level for product teams and the overall enterprise
