The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.

Case Management Skills

- Understands bigger picture of case work and looks to resolve root cause (looks for trends, permanent fixes)
- Properly documents work in case and closes it out under SLA

- Ability to provide after-hours support coverage on a rotation schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of providing relevant experience supporting applications and systems in a production environment
- Associate or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Certifications in Linux, Public Cloud, MySQL, and other related tech are desirable but not required.
Additional Nice to Haves
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for providing backend production support to the FairWarning application, this role is the owner of driving resolution to monitoring created case work. This requires the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and root cause problems and provide fixes to these issues. This is a position in the DevOps organization, and in this role the engineer will work closely and partner with DevOps, InfraOps, Engineering and Customer Support to ensure customer systems maintain high uptime, reliability, functionality, and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities Technical Skills
- Beginner to Intermediate command line Linux Skills
- Experience with supporting database backed applications (i.e. MySQL)
- Experience maintaining long running application service processes (Java, Tomcat, and Apache)
- Exposure to Linux subsystems such as sysvinit and systemd
- Beginner to Intermediate Scripting Skills (Bash, Perl, etc.)
- Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis experience
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)
- Familiarity with system access using SSH and SSH tunneling
- Some experience configuring and troubleshooting authentication (i.e. LDAP, SSO, SAML)
- Experience with virtual and physical compute environments (on premise and public cloud)
- Exposure to monitoring systems and configuration (i.e. Nagios)
- Experience troubleshooting and fixing application performance issues
- Experience with application troubleshooting, log analysis and event correlation
- Familiarity with software delivery and application deployment methodologies
- Experience with source code repository systems (i.e. GitHub)
