Description
Client created a solution to provide sensor-based solutions that enhance shipment visibility, integrity and security for customers around the world. Client’s customers are logistics professionals who manage complex supply chains facing disruptions, damages, and delays.
The current platform cannot easily scale with increasing demand. Fundamental processes can only be
performed by Client’s personnel. For instance, customers are unable to create an account, order IoT sensors, set up
tracking, update tracking, end tracking, or be invoiced without the involvement of a Client’s employee. Client need to reduce cost to serve and offer a software solution that empowers customers to manage tracking on their own from end-to-end. Additionally, we need to improve the experience for users in the application to increase value, increase utilization, and retain users.
Requirements
English Advanced Proficiency Level
- 10+ year’s professional software development experience
- BS in Computer Science or similar, or comparable work experience
- Experience with event-driven micro-service architecture
● Solid experience in analysis and design using object-oriented techniques
● Programming proficiency and experience with Java required
● Experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJs, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, XML, JMS required
● Experience with Linux operating systems
● Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker and containerization
● Proven leadership experience and qualities including a sense of ownership, strong communication skills,
creativity, initiative, attention to detail, mentoring/coaching/leading other developers
● Experience with relational and document-oriented databases
● Demonstrated long-term experience supporting enterprise systems
● Experience with Agile and/or SAFe software development methodologies
Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE’s, various plug-ins, Maven, Nexus, and Git.
Job Responsibilities
1. **Software Development:**
– Leverage your 10+ years of professional software development experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
– Apply object-oriented techniques for analysis and design, ensuring robust and scalable applications.
2. **Java and Angular Expertise:**
– Write clean, efficient Java code, adhering to best practices.
– Utilize modern web front-end libraries and frameworks to build responsive and user-friendly web applications.
– Work with SQL, XML, and JMS for data manipulation and communication.
3. **Platform and Infrastructure:**
– Familiarize yourself with Linux operating systems.
– Gain proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
4. **Leadership and Collaboration:**
– Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, mentoring and coaching other developers.
– Pay attention to detail and demonstrate creativity and initiative.
5. **Database Management:**
– Work with both relational and document-oriented databases.
– Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
6. **Enterprise Systems Support:**
– Utilize your demonstrated long-term experience to support and enhance existing enterprise systems.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
