Description
Our client is a global provider of data and analytics for the energy transition. The services include data, analytics, insight, events and consultancy across the renewables, energy and natural resources sectors. The Support team will be required to support multiple applications.
Requirements
● 1-2 years of experience in international production support or a similar role.
● Ready to work in rotational shifts
● Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders
and incident calls effectively.
● Hands-on experience monitoring production systems and checking logs.
● Ability to run pre-written database scripts (experience with SQL databases is preferred,
but not required to write queries).
● Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools.
● Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple
tasks simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
● Monitor production notifications and alerts to ensure timely identification and resolution
of issues.
● Incident management: Attend incident calls, providing first-level support and escalating
when necessary.
● Check logs to diagnose and resolve issues, escalating complex cases to higher tiers or
relevant teams.
● Execute pre-written database scripts to assist in troubleshooting and resolving incidents
(no requirement to write new database queries).
● Collaborate with SREs and involve SMEs as needed to resolve production incidents
effectively.
● Work on production support tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution in alignment
with service-level agreements (SLAs).
● Ensure that all incidents and actions are properly logged in the ticketing system with
clear documentation
