Description

The People/HR function is currently going through a major transformation towards building a best in class HR organization which is able to support GL’s fast-growing business: we are therefore searching for an Associate Vice President, to join our Global Total Rewards (TR) team. Reporting to the Global Head of TR, the EMEA AVP Total Rewards will be responsible for a range of critical HR capabilities and services for the EMEA region of GlobalLogic. This individual will drive the organisation’s compensation strategy in the European Region, including leading the design, development, and implementation of compensation strategies, programs, and policies, in alignment with GlobalLogic’s business objectives. With knowledge of best-in-class compensation practices, the individual will ensure key events and emerging market trends affecting human resources (i.e., legal, tax, regulatory, compliance related etc.).

This position is responsible for consulting and partnering with assigned Business Unit/Function/Region clients/HR Partners and Shared Service Center (SSC) on TR issues and leading a variety of broader TR activities. It requires a deep understanding of the regional trends and practices and must stay abreast of compensation best practices, critical jobs, legal developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements, as well as providing best practice recommendations to the GL leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a Head of Total Rewards for EMEA with knowledge and experience in the international compensation and benefits area.
  • Ability to give executive presentations on TR topics.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with teams and key stakeholders on an international basis.
  • Collaborative working style and strong interpersonal and influencing skills – heavy focus on relationship management.
  • Experience building business cases. MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • International background and global mindset.
  • Experience leading a team of at least 3 direct reports and ensuring that projects are managed including project plans, timelines.
  • Workday experience will be a plus.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in global and networked environment.
  • Role reports to the Head of Global Total Rewards with strong partnerships with the EMEA people team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and execution of Regional Total Rewards strategy and frameworks in line with the overall business objectives, and consistent with the global total rewards strategy and framework.
  • Develop the Global Rewards Roadmap for EMEA with considering business and employee needs, affordability, compliance and scalability.
  • Lead the Job Architecture and market benchmarking process in all European countries.
  • Manage the process by which any new or revised jobs are evaluated and slotted into appropriate job grades and salary ranges.
  • Manage the regional development of the TR Policies. Develops the base salary processes and structures to ensure their competitiveness, fairness and alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead the proposal creation & overall execution of the merit and promotion process in partnership with the regional and country leadership and partnering with the global total rewards team and frameworks
  • Direct and facilitates the TR related discussions with business and HR senior leadership in Europe, using strong influence and communications skills to align on projects and recommendations
  • Responsible for leading the execution of the Compensation database & process automation, providing clear direction to our HRIS and Global People Services colleagues.
  • Provide TR hiring guidance in newer countries in the region.
  • Contribute to the design & development of variable compensation plans.
  • Participate in M&A due diligence and Leads the Integration of the total rewards for the region.
  • Ensure Country Compliance is aligned with global TR regulations.
  • Guide and train HR teams and Senior Management in compensation related topics.
  • Consolidate regional level trends, market data and prepares the compensation dashboard for European region.
  • Lead and develop the total rewards team -ensure that all work is prioritized and organized to create work/life balance for the team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the annual compensation cycle including the salary and incentive review, market data collection and analysis, market trend research, and budgeting for salary increases.
  • The position also has responsibility for large, enterprise-wide projects such as short-term incentives, long-term incentives and recognition.
  • Work with Finance to ensure adequate estimates and calculation of compensation expenses for budget planning process.
  • Partner with HRBPs and senior management to understand and support business objectives by providing analytical support, counseling, and expert advice for their Business Unit/Function/Region areas.
  • Assess and provide compensation recommendations for job offers extended within specific functions, including salary, sign-on bonuses, and equity buy-outs.
