Description
The client is one of the largest communication technology companies in the world. The client delivers superior customer experiences through their products and actions. Everything they do, they build on a strong network, systems, and process foundation.
The primary solution goal is to update the existing SGP.22 v2.4 Platform components implementation to v2.5 to support SGP.31 specification and enable the constrained IoT devices equipped with eSIM support.
To achieve the goal, by Client was presented with a client eSIM for Constrained Devices (SGP.31/32) Development Approach, including the list of components to be added, New network elements, New interfaces.
Requirements
Required:
5+ years of experience
BS in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Science Engineering or a related technical degree
2+ years of experience with embedded C/C++ programming
Strong Linux user
Strong experience in Android development is a must
Knowledge of AOSP and building custom Android firmware
Experience in technical design and architecture for Android applications
Multithreading and IPC good knowledge and experience
Experience in Android Services and Content Providers
Experience working with custom UI and animations
Strong spoken and written English
Would be great to have:
Understanding of Linux dev environment and Linux Kernel
Unit and integration testing
Chromium, WebRTC, or FFMPEG experience could be a plus
JNI/NDK is a plus
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical decisions and documentation for new product features
Develop Android/C/C++ applications for interactive panels
Solve technical challenges for the next generation of Android-based interactive large-screen panels
Provide technical guidance for junior staff
Ensure high quality of deliverables
Analyze requirements
Issue tracking
Collaborate with customer’s engineers and Product Owner daily
Work as a good team player
