In 2014 WSTE in Szczecin and GlobalLogic started to work on a first common project – postgraduate studies related to software development in large companies. The curricular has been created in cooperation with the school and GlobalLogic experts and is unique example of academia and business cooperation. As a result, the first edition of the studies was launched in 2016. Thanks to the direct involvement of GlobalLogic engineers in the creation of educational program and educational efforts of Grzegorz Skorny – Dean of WSTE in Szczecin, students can be sure that they will obtain useful competences that are aligned with current market needs.

Next common step is to set up an education program which includes professional courses like programming in Python, C++ and Embedded C. This is addressed to people who want to gain their skills in short time. It is another level of business and academia cooperation in Szczecin which happens only because of excellent partnership of WSTE and GlobalLogic.

The latest project we are working on, is about running courses with the subject of modelling HMI applications, which are normally used in vehicles. We are very happy that we could win one of our partners for this cooperation. Elektrobit, a leader in embedded software solutions and services for the Automotive industry has been engaged as a provider of specialized software – EB GUIDE – that allows to build their own HMI applications.
