Nitesh Banga
President & Chief Executive Officer
Nitesh serves as the President and CEO of GlobalLogic, where he is responsible for defining and executing strategy, aligning investments, and ensuring growth, consistency, efficiency, and worldwide operational excellence. Previously, he held the position of COO for over four years, during which he oversaw delivery, operations, talent recruitment and management, and information technology. Additionally, Nitesh concurrently holds the role of CEO at Hitachi’s Digital Engineering Business Unit as Vice President and Executive Officer. In this capacity, he drives value creation across Hitachi, particularly in the OT domain, by leveraging advanced design capabilities.
With extensive experience in the IT services industry, Nitesh brings a diverse wealth of expertise encompassing worldwide operations, delivery, process improvements, mergers and acquisitions, and sales and business development. These qualifications make him the ideal candidate to spearhead GlobalLogic’s ongoing growth. Prior to his tenure at GlobalLogic, Nitesh spent over 20 years at Infosys, where he held various global leadership roles spanning services, products, operations, and sales. His most recent role at Infosys was Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Manufacturing business, in addition to serving as a board member of their EdgeVerve software subsidiary.
Nitesh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoys following a wide array of sports, including basketball, soccer, cricket, and Formula 1 racing.
