Description
Lead and manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their day-to-day activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define project goals for data science initiatives.
Design and implement data science strategies and solutions to address complex business problems.
Oversee the development and implementation of predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analysis techniques.
Ensure the collection, cleansing, and integration of relevant data from multiple sources for analysis.
Evaluate the performance and accuracy of data models and provide recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in data science and incorporate them into the team’s practices.
Communicate and present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with other teams, such as engineering and product management, to ensure successful integration and deployment of data science solutions.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data science team.
Requirements
Function: Data Science and Analysis → Data Analysis / Business Intelligence, Data Science / Machine Learning
- Highly skilled and motivated Manager to lead our team of data scientists.
- As the Data Science/Ai/ML Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven solutions and strategies.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives, define project goals, and ensure the successful execution of data science projects.
- Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the data science team, ensuring the continuous growth and improvement of their skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a data science role, with at least 2 years of experience in managing a team of data scientists.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, Reporting, Warehousing, Machine Learning
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
- Solid understanding of data manipulation, feature engineering, and data preprocessing techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
