Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or seven or more years of work experience.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience in working on Docker and other containerized platforms.
• Experience on the Big data platform and working on Data lake.
• Experience developing shell scripts and running cron/oozie/spark jobs on Hadoop platform.
• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Hive, HQL, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, S3.
• Experience in building reports using Qlik.
• Experience writing ETLl Data pipelines in distributed systems like spark.
• Ability to work independently, and multi-task under short deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Data engineering platform tech stack using open source or cloud native ( AWS )
Preferences
Nice to have skills
• Master’s degree.
• Experience in SPARK using Python/Scala to transform data and create quality datasets for machine learning.
• Experience and understanding of common machine learning algorithms including classification and regression algorithms.
• Working experience with Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics software and best practices.
• Experience using statistical techniques and quantitative methodologies that are used in decision making applications.
Job Responsibilities
• Loading data from multiple disparate sources using AWS cloud native services
• Writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) using the latest visualization and analytical tools.
• Presenting findings and explaining results using Qlik.
• Filtering, aggregating and transforming data based on direction from SMEs and data scientists.
