About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and MongoDB
to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining
production-grade applications, and is comfortable debugging real-world production issues under
pressure.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases for data modeling, queries, and performance
optimization
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
• Configure and manage web servers such as Nginx (reverse proxy, load balancing, SSL, etc.)
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces using Angular, Vue.js, or React
• Deploy and manage applications in production environments, including VPS-based infrastructure
• Debug and resolve real-life production issues quickly and effectively, including performance
bottlenecks, memory leaks, and downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements as needed
Job responsibilities
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express or similar frameworks)
• Solid experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design
• Experience configuring and managing web servers like Nginx
• Working knowledge of at least one frontend framework: Angular, Vue.js, or React
• Practical experience with production deployments
• Working knowledge of VPS setup and management (Linux server administration, process managers
like PM2, etc.)
• Strong debugging skills, with experience resolving live production issues
• Understanding of version control (Git) and standard development workflows
Good to Have (Add-on Skills)
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and messaging
• Experience with Redis for caching and in-memory data storage
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Bull, or similar)
Experience with RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing and inter-service communication
• Experience with Cassandra or other distributed NoSQL databases
• Experience with load balancing setups
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical
experience)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
