Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
Must Have –
ï‚· Strong in Java/Python
ï‚· Should have experience of React
ï‚· Hands-on experience of development with Cloud Native Services in AWS and SOA. Experience
with instrumentation and monitoring the services to ensure the application is behaving as
expected
ï‚· Experience with CI/CD pipelines
ï‚· Hands-on experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code) (See note below)
ï‚· Experience in Agile development
ï‚· Willingness to work in a classical DevOps model where the development team is responsible
to deploy and support/maintain the services/UI that they develop
ï‚· Experience as Team/Tech Lead for at least 3 years
Education and/or Experience:
ï‚· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline required
ï‚· 8 – 10 years of professional experience in software development, with experience in one or more
areas:
o Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as: Java,
Python(preferred)
o Experience in fully automated CI/CD concerns (IaC, quality, testing, etc)
o Understanding of micro-service/API development
o Understanding of various API protocols (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc)
o Understanding of serverless development
ï‚· Proficiency (one or more years) in designing, developing and deploying cloud based solution
using AWS or Azure

Job Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for analysis, design, development, deployment and operation of cloud software to
protect life in motion. follows a classical DevOps model where the development team is
responsible to deploy and support/maintain the services/UI that they develop. Due to this,
everyone must be willing to learn and work with the DevOps (including IaC) approach.
Skill and experience:
ï‚· Deep knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java and/or Python
preferred)
ï‚· Expertise in service-oriented architectures; ideally, you’ve developed APIs for both
internal and external-facing services
ï‚· You’re obsessed with performance, and have experience with instrumentation and
monitoring services to ensure the application is behaving as expected
ï‚· You have a basic knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data
structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
ï‚· Successful delivery of an application from design to market
ï‚· Experience incremental delivery of enterprise systems with CI/CD
ï‚· Understanding of micro-service development
ï‚· Understanding of web service development
ï‚· Knowledge of multi-tier architectures across multiple technology stacks .net, Java, J2EE,
web servers, caching, application servers, RDBMS/NoSQL: Postgres, Dynamo DB
ï‚· Experience with data processing technologies such as Kafka/Kinesis, Spark, Storm
ï‚· Ability to define, design and deliver a distributed automation platform for compute,
storage, database, queuing and other infrastructure
