Requirements

  • Set the technical direction for large-scale web applications.
  • Drive coding standards and patterns for a large, distributed engineering team.
  • Build exceptional user interfaces and API surfaces for user and organization management.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, estimation, coding, code review, unit testing, and bug fixing.
  • Mentor junior developers to help the team reach its maximum potential.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end user experiences for customers.
  • Rapidly prototype ideas and concepts.
  • Research the latest industry trends to ensure the team stays ahead of emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with developers maintaining the in-house design system, providing feedback and recommendations on components and the developer experience.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure implementations align with design specifications and meet user expectations.
  • Implement and advocate for accessibility best practices in all software deliverables, ensuring inclusivity across all user demographics.
  • Facilitate and refine CI/CD processes to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Proactively monitor and resolve issues related to the usability, performance, and scalability of front-end applications.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Tech Stack: ElasticSearch, SOLR, Kafka, SNS/SQS, AMQP, Spring Boot, GitHub, Jenkins
  • Strong understanding of design principles, web standards, and best practices for creating interactive and responsive front-end applications.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for ensuring compliance and functionality across all user interfaces.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs to support dynamic front-end applications.
  • Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing high-quality, reusable code.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for continuous learning and innovation in web technologies and design practices.
