Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proficient in C++ (17+), with knowledge of modern C++ features and best practices.
Solid experience with C# and .NET framework.
Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Experience with Windows API (Win Api) and Windows system programming.
Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency patterns. Experience with the Standard Template Library (STL).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience in bug fixing, addressing security vulnerabilities, and implementing shift-left testing strategies.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using C++ (17+), C#, and .NET.
Utilize SQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
Develop and maintain Windows applications leveraging Win Api, ensuring seamless integration with Windows OS components.
Implement and manage complex multithreading operations to improve application efficiency and responsiveness.
Use Standard Template Library (STL) effectively to enhance application performance and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and support, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to software maintenance, bug fixes, security vulnerabilities, and testing strategies.
