The project goal is to support our client in development, optimization and testing of a new wireless protocol for IoT devices. The protocol is suitable for mid-range applications and has many similarities to ZigBee or LoRaWAN. 

The crucial part of this project is maintaining a perfect quality and ensuring optimim performance of developed solution. Automation of entire simulation and amnalyzis process is essential to achieve that goal, especially on wireless protocol level.

Our areas of responsibility is focused on performance, security and integration analyzis and testing, which requires deep understanding of the protocols. An important part of our tasks is delivery of a certification process for 3rd parties, which will include cooperation with other equipment vendors and support pre-certification testing for US, Europe, and compliance & regulatory testing.

You will closely cooperate with the R&D team located in the USA.

We are looking for an experienced data analyzis engineer, with QA and software development background. The main tool used in the project is python, however practival experience with C/C++ would be an additional asset (not a must-have).

Main requirements:
– experience in analyzing and developing data processing software for distributed networks and/or larga scale real-time processing

– commercial hands-on experience and fluency in python programming,

– experience in embedded/IoT devices programming or testing,

– very good communication skills,

– proactiveness, ability to autonomously generate ideas/solutions, sense of responsibility and ownership

– performance optimization focus/mindset

Nice to have skills:
– good understanding of at least one mid-range technology (eg. LoRaWAN, Zigbee, Thread or similar),
– experience in AWS IoT platform
– ISTQB (or performance testing experience)

 

 

 

 

職務内容

This team is expected to validate a data flow in wireless network using multiple devices (IoT gateway and multiple end nodes) on various levels

You will be responsible for:
– analyzis of data flow in a distributed networks and its nodes (gateways, mobile applications etc.)

– identifying areas in the protocol that require additional analyzis,

– documenting data flow with appropriate flow performance analyzis,

– maintenance, designing and extending simulation and analyzis framework (Python),

– setting up data transfer performance tests and gathering test results

Our customer prefers an ownership-based way of work, which means that we get a lot of independece on defining how to achieve agreed goals. You are expected to proactive, bring new ideas and suggestions. 

There are several areas (or microteams) with different specializations and primary goals, eg. automation, 3rd party certification.
