Portal Framework Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision, goals, and target audience for the portal.
Conduct user research, including personas interviews, to understand user needs, pain points, and desired functionalities.
Develop a user-centered information architecture that organizes content and features effectively.
Design user flows and wireframes to outline the user journey and navigation within the portal.
Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups for testing and user feedback.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Prototyping:
Utilize industry-standard prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes.
Develop prototypes with varying levels of fidelity, from low-fi sketches to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
Ensure prototypes are responsive and display correctly across different devices and screen sizes.
User Research:
Plan and conduct user interviews and usability testing with target users to gather feedback on the portal design.
Analyze user research data to identify areas for improvement and iterate on the design accordingly.
Create user personas to represent key user segments and inform design decisions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
Communicate design ideas and decisions clearly and effectively.
Be open to feedback and willing to iterate on designs to achieve optimal results.
