Job Title: Functional Consultant in Insurance

Job Description:

-> Your primary role is to leverage generative artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies to discover, drive, and provide business process solutions within the insurance organization.

-> You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency, all while harnessing the power of AI-driven solutions.


-> Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Business).
-> Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including processes, regulations, and challenges.
-> Proficiency in RPA tools and platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and AI model development.
-> Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
-> Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
-> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-> Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on AI, automation, and insurance industry trends.

Job Responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Process Discovery:
· Collaborate with business units and departments to identify potential automation opportunities by analyzing existing processes, workflows, and data.
· Conduct thorough process assessments and requirements gathering to gain insights into the specific needs and pain points of the insurance operations.
2. Solution Design:
· Develop and implement generative AI strategies to augment human decision-making processes in insurance-related tasks such as Circular analysis, claims assessment, risk analysis, and customer support.
· Create detailed solution designs that combine RPA and generative AI capabilities, including process flowcharts, AI model architectures, and technical specifications.
3. Implementation:
· Utilize RPA tools and platforms to design, build, and deploy automation solutions, working in conjunction with generative AI models.
· Configure and develop bots to automate routine and manual tasks within insurance processes while integrating AI-driven decision support.
4. AI Model Development and Integration:
· Build and train generative AI models tailored to the insurance domain, ensuring they meet industry-specific requirements and compliance standards.
· Integrate AI models into RPA workflows and processes, enabling AI-driven decision-making and data analysis.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data scientists, business analysts, and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless integration of AI and RPA solutions.
· Communicate the value of AI and automation to stakeholders, obtaining their support and engagement for automation initiatives.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance:
· Conduct comprehensive testing of AI and RPA solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with insurance industry standards.
· Implement robust error handling and exception management mechanisms for both AI and RPA components.
7. Training and Documentation:
· Provide training and support to end-users and support staff to ensure they can effectively interact with AI-augmented RPA bots.
· Maintain documentation for AI models, RPA processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Monitoring and Maintenance:
· Continuously monitor the performance of deployed bots and AI models, proactively addressing any issues or optimizations needed.
· Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure AI and automation solutions operate efficiently.
9. Continuous Improvement:
· Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI advancements to identify new opportunities for automation and process enhancement.
· Identify and prioritize areas for continuous process improvement and AI model refinement.
10. Compliance and Security:
· Ensure that all AI and automation solutions adhere to data security and compliance requirements, especially concerning sensitive customer information and
regulatory mandates.
11. Reporting and Analytics:
· Generate reports and analytics dashboards to track the impact of AI and automation on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for further enhancements.
