Its span of products comprises business licensing, tax solutions, short-term rental, online civic services, information access, and official public records.
The client aims to transform development and L3 support operations by establishing a strategic partnership with GlobalLogic, aiming to set up self-sufficient pods to support cross-portfolio initiatives, including sustenance of current platforms and also evolving their products through the modernization of the tech-stack and implementation of advanced data analytics and microservices-based solutions.

Requirements
Key Qualifications
Proven software development experience in PHP (5+ years)
Understanding of PHP frameworks design patterns, object-oriented programming, and MVC
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, migrations and developing web services
Strongly collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment
Familiar with AI assisted tools (Claude Code, Copilot)

Job responsibilities
We’re looking for someone with strong backend implementation skills who can help them modernize their code base into a standard framework with the end goal of building something that is maintainable, scalable, and cost-effective from a hosting perspective.
This role will drive new feature development as well as maintaining existing solutions of our clients
Maintain and enhance long-term enterprise web applications with continuous integration systems and code quality gateways
Active participation in the conceptualization and development of new modules, features and functions
Coordinate with co-developers, product owners and send regular updates
Build and deploy efficient, testable, and reusable modules
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Extend functional capabilities of existing platforms
Design and implement software architecture for critical new products and new feature sets
Follow industry best practices as well as company programming policies and standards
Leverage AI use to improve team velocity and delivery
