Description:
Our Client is one of the leading providers of a comprehensive program that enables businesses to secure brand value and thrive commercially. They serve over 5000 clients on five continents!
The project we are working on is the largest technology transformation for the Client at the moment. It consists of Engineering and Data Science functions, with 180 people globally, aligned to Trademark Solutions or Online Brand Protection Business Units. Brand Protection has large-scale web crawling and workflow web applications (including browser plugins). The platform is tracking millions of product listings each day and a dataset in excess of 150TB.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle including requirements capture, analysis, design, development, testing, and user documentation
in an agile environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analyzing data and processes to deliver insights, optimizations, and value to the squads
- Experience in translating user stories and requirements into technical specifications for development in collaboration with engineers.
- An understanding of agile values, principles, and frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings and facilitate decision-making within the team.
- Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
Ability to identify and remove barriers to progress, and to escalate issues as necessary. - Expert user of JIRA.
- Recognized Business Analysis qualification is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, business, or engineering) is preferred, but not required
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
- Calm and collaborative approach when operating under pressure, with a willingness to compromise to find solutions.
- Intense customer focus and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Manager/ Product Owner and Stakeholders driving the roadmap, based on insights, and champion this across your engineering teams.
- Define and write user stories with supporting artifacts where required.
- Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
- Work with a wide range of business users to capture systems requirements and associated benefits
- Work with the product owner to help prioritize and refine the product backlog.
- Help the team to communicate effectively with other stakeholders in the organization
- Drive product development through tribes and scrum teams.
- Identify and remove any risks and barriers that may impede the team’s progress, and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved within the team
- Help bridge the divide between technical and non-technical audiences.
