Description:
A customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity. The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience supporting Production workloads in AWS
- Working knowledge of server, networking, operating system, database, application performance management, monitoring and alerting system, load balancing, and security systems.
- Basic experience with AWS Technologies with a focus on EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, VPC, Route 53
- Basic experience using Bash and Python
- Strong communication Skills
- Basic experience Linux Skills
- Basic experience creating automation via Ansible
- Understanding of Git and GitOps
Desirable:
- Basic experience creating infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Basic experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Some experience coding in Java
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, maintain and monitor AWS Infrastructure.
- Participate in the Production deployments and infrastructure changes such as quarterly patching and SSL cert rotations.
- Participate in the Automation of IaC and deployment tasks using Ansible.
- Participate in the security of the Cloud/SaaS hosting environments and processes.
- Collaborating with engineering and the business stakeholders to support the delivery of regular software updates while maintaining a high level of availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring quick and effective system management.
