Description:
Our client is a rapidly growing leader in the data and application integration space. Our customers are thought leaders in data integration, big data and cloud integration, they represent some of the biggest and best names in retail, financial services, consumer products, and business services.
Requirements:
Strong English, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the client’s team.
Minimum 2 years of recent backend experience with PHP.
Experience with Docker.
Some experience in UI development and knowledge of JavaScript.
Familiarity with the Symfony framework.
Familiarity with MySQL.
Experience with PHP migration (PHP 5 to PHP 8 is a huge plus).
Experience with other migrations, demonstrating the ability to understand and rewrite existing code.
Experience with cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities:
Understand the existing code base.
Rewrite code using recent technologies with good test coverage.
Identify tactical and long-term improvements.
Collaborate with team members and report progress on a daily basis.
Maintain technical documentation.
