Description:
The customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity. The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with deep dive analytical skills.
- Proficient with Java Cloud Development with Scala as a major plus.
- Proficiency with relational data stores.
- Passion for building resilient backend platforms.
- Eager to learn, while exhibiting a positive attitude.
- Advanced English level.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Kafka.
- Understanding of Akka.
- Understanding of cryptography, security, and data privacy.
- Experience building distributed highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions.
- Experience developing for Continuous Deployment on AWS, GCP or similar.
- Development environment: git, Collaborator, SBT, Docker, IntelliJ, Artifactory, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Apple’s APNS, Google’s FCM and Twilio.

In the role of a Principal Software Engineer, you will assume a pivotal position in shaping the architecture, design, and development of a cloud native, multitenant SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders will be a key aspect of your work to develop resilient, dependable, and high-performant software. Your proficiency in cloud-native technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms will be a cornerstone of our achievements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in the architecture and lead the design and implementation of our highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions,
- Collaborate with Product Management, Release Delivery, Customer Support and other groups towards developing the most optimal solutions and troubleshooting issues.
- Practice modern agile software development practices that deliver high quality code: continuous integration, test, deployment practices and tool sets.
- Validate technical designs against business requirements and architecture.
- Do code reviews and approval of pull requests in Git.
- Communicate with other teams/leads.
