Description:
Our Client is one of the biggest Automotive OEMs. GlobalLogic team is responsible for bring up a platform base on ThreadX RTOS of the new telematics control unit as well as integrate the support for all the peripherials and provide the SDK. We are working in the areas of remote software update, power management, cellular connectivity, secure boot and secure upgrade, CAN integration etc. As a test engineer you will be testing different platform level features, prepare test automation scripts as well as being responsible for defining and establishing the test methodology to ensure requirements-test coverage.
Requirements:
MUST have:

5 years of experience in software testing, test automation or software integration for embedded devices
-
Good knowledge and understanding of the software testing methodologies and techniques
- Experience in taking the lead in discussions regarding scope, activities and strategies related to testing
- Experience in test automation
- Proficiency in Python
-
Knowledge of communication protocols, including TCP/IP stack.

Good communication skills
-
At least upper intermediate (B2) spoken and written English
Would be a plus:
- Experience with CAN/CAN-FD protocol stack

Experience in FOTA update client
-
Experience in HSM
-
Experience in testing/integration of cellular and wireless chipsets
Job Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis

Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes

Preparing detailed test reports
- Preparing automation scripts
- Troubleshooting automation software issues
