Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Financial Data Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage and analyze large datasets to provide critical financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel at managing and analyzing large datasets while leveraging their financial expertise to drive insights and inform strategic decisions. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, implementing best practices, and providing actionable recommendations to support our company’s financial goals.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, financial analysis, or a related role. Proven experience with large datasets and financial modeling is required.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing).
o Advanced knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools like Tableau, Power BI).
o Strong skills in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management and Analysis:
o Manage large financial datasets, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
o Develop and maintain financial models and datasets to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
o Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
2. Financial Analysis:
o Apply financial acumen to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
o Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial performance and key metrics.
o Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets based on data analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
o Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure data consistency and alignment with financial goals.
3. Reporting and Documentation:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, analysis methodologies, and financial models.
4. Cross Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business operations, to understand data needs and requirements.
o Provide data-driven recommendations to support business strategies and financial planning.
5. Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance data management and analysis efficiency.
o Automate repetitive tasks and reporting processes to streamline financial operations and reduce manual effort.
