Description:
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to our GlobalLogic team.
We help with design and development of the embedded software for the electronic control units of the cars, as well as related tools and frameworks, for one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs.
GlobalLogic team is responsible for development, integration and validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and the next generation Client’s car lines. We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.
We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.
As a part of the JavaScript Engineering Team you will contribute to the design, development and support for a JS applications platform solution, that run with the help of NodeJS runtime inside the Vehicle.
Requirements:

5+ years of proven project experience in software engineering

Expert knowledge in backend development
-
Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript in Backend area
-
Experience in NodeJS, NPM
-
Expert knowledge of Linux Internals
-
Very good English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong leadership skills
Nice to have:

Experience in Automotive
-
Experience in C++ (11/14/17 standard)
-
YAML/zuul/CI knowledge
Job Responsibilities:

Implement, extend and support the JS platform solution for automotive middleware

Take part in customer requirements analysis

Contribute to development of new features and services

Participate in the analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the complex parts of an automotive software system

Cooperate with other teams to follow up issues resolution

Actively lead development team
