Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for authoring requirements for existing systems, conducting requirements-based testing, and managing documentation including design, configuration management, and validation. The role involves working with a variety of tools and technologies, including Python, Spark/Flink, SQL, Terraform, and AWS services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Spark or Flink for data processing.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Experience with version control using Git.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly AWS Athena, Glue Data Catalog and Jobs, and EMR.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Author and maintain requirements for existing systems.
- Perform requirements-based testing to ensure system functionality and performance.
- Create and manage documentation related to design, configuration management, and validation.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Spark/Flink.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code to manage AWS resources.
- Implement version control using Git to manage codebase.
- Utilize AWS services such as Athena, Glue Data Catalog, and Jobs, and EMR for data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve processes and solutions.
