QA on the project is very important because the project starts from scratch. It consists of a few parts. Backend solution which uses Apigee, CloudElements, and includes integration with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and others. Frontend which will be used to create a developer portal. We have full ownership of the code which gives developers a lot of flexibility. The same principle applies to the development methodology, the team decides how do we operate: Scrum, Kanban or other. GlobalLogic is responsible for project management and gives all needed support.
The scope of work is not yet fully known, so part of the work that is related to the clarifying requirement will lay on the QA engineer’s shoulders. Also, QA processes will have to be established from scratch that’s why we welcome engineers who are willing to show their initiative in solving problems related to project initiation, planning, and executing. We offer flexibility in choosing testing approaches and testing tools.

The project is starting from scratch. We are enhancing existing telecommunication solutions by bringing it to the level of „Unified Communication System”. The server side will consist of API orchestration which will use Apigee and Cloud Elements. This includes adding new functionality like integration with Google, Microsoft, and other 3rd party solutions. Client-side as sample applications for all popular operating systems including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The new administration tool (Web Portal) will allow our clients to manage the system more easily and acquire more clients by giving them the authority to control their subscription plans from the portal.
Requirements and Skills:
- 3 years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance with experience in a variety of product testing.
- Experience in integration testing.
- Experience in back-end testing
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Good understanding of web and middleware architecture
- Experience in writing and maintaining test documentation (bug reports, test cases, checklists).
- Experience with bug-tracking systems.
- Upper-intermediate English.
