Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on SCADA or MES applications. Nice to have experience in Ignition development.
- Proficiency in higher-level programming languages such as C#/.NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Strong experience in working with SQL or Oracle databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Knowledge of PLC logic and programming.
- Ability to develop and integrate systems with OPC servers and industrial data solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to addressing challenges.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and architect MES systems using the Ignition Platform, including SCADA and HMI components.
- Utilize SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to build comprehensive solutions.
- Integrate MES systems with third-party tools such as OPC servers, PLC’s, and other industrial devices.
- Work with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle, designing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Develop custom applications and interfaces with data historians (e.g., OSI PI, Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian).
- Provide detailed technical documentation and training to clients, ensuring smooth implementation and support.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, contributing to continuous improvement and best practices within the MES space.
