Description:
The client is a product international company that provides a defence platform that enables development and security teams to protect critical workloads against emerging threats and undiscovered vulnerabilities with a lightweight agent that protects the organisation’s public, private and hybrid cloud deployments on-premises data centres managed. In addition, it is an advanced endpoint detection and response platform, which gathers as much information as possible to detect and analyse complex threats while being as non-intrusive as possible, minimising the impact on the network and the endpoint.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience coding in Java (must)
- Team player, accountable, dedicated and passionate
- B.Sc. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in designing and building distributed and scalable systems (must)
- Experience with working in a cloud environment
- Experience in SpringBoot
- Experience with designing and implementing Spring based microservices
- Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience in building deployment pipelines using Jenkins and kubernetes
- Experience with using queues and messaging systems (PubSub ,SQS, Kafka etc.)
- Experience in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres etc.) and NoSQL databases (Mongo, AeroSpike etc.)

The Endpoint Protection Platform group’s mission statement is to provide best in class and Innovative EDR, DFIR & EPP protection in order to prevent cyber-security malicious organization attacks.
To achieve our mission, we use next-generation collection, detection and prevention engines, behavioral analysis, AI and other techniques.
Combined with an excellent skill set, engagement, and outstanding organizational culture, this engineering group, from low level to backend and UI, is responsible for E2E engineering deliveries and making a significant business impact.
We are looking for engaged and enthusiastic Java Software Engineer to join our Deployment and Observability Team. Our team is responsible for infrastructure that allows deployment of our security product in customer environments in a scaled, robust and fault tolerant way. The team is also responsible for high performance infrastructure that allows harvesting of metrics and monitoring data from our security product.
In this position you will:
- Take full responsibility and ownership of features and/or services from design to deployment
- Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team
- Design, develop and deploy Java services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability
- Work in cloud environment (GCP) and utilize cloud native technologies to provide robust and scalable solutions
- Build and maintain a robust cost effective infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, product owners and designers, to identify and solve challenging problems in cybersecurity.
- Work with experienced and highly talented engineers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.
