Description:
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and performance of our applications, making sure they are robust, scalable, and secure. This position requires a deep understanding of .NET technologies, web development best practices, and security principles.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with a strong focus on web applications.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
- Good understanding of web application security principles, including OWASP top 10, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with database design and management (e.g., SQL Server, Entity Framework).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
- Implement and maintain security best practices in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to web application performance, security, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, particularly in the area of web application security.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure the smooth deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments.
- Document technical specifications, architecture, and processes.
