Description:
The client provides a reimbursement platform available for companies with mobile employees who are traveling places for their day-to-day job. They have solutions for Small and Medium Businesses, Mid-size companies and Enterprises to enable them to manage the reimbursement by streamlining and optimizing calculation process, control cost by using insight based on the rich user data aggregated through their Mobile app. Its platform and proprietary software simplify the reimbursement and management of vehicle, device, work and living costs through personalized calculations. They provide and customize the right reimbursement model for their clients as per their needs. Backed by rich user data for hundreds of clients, gathered and refined over decades, and updated in real time. Requirements:
We are looking for a person who is customer focused, results oriented, has a positive attitude and a strong desire to solve interesting problems.
The candidate’s background and experience should demonstrate proficiency in developing Web applications and Web services based on the following technologies:
o 3+ years of experience with programming Web applications in PHP, Java, PERL, or Python.
o Experience developing interactive AJAX and Web 2.0 applications.
o Proficiency with Object Orientated Programming (OOP), design patterns, and domain driven design.
o Proficiency with frameworks, preferably Zend (but experience with another framework is OK). Previous experience with Java/Spring or ASP/.NET is a strong plus.
o Proficiency with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, preferably EXT-JS (but experience with another JavaScript framework like JQuery or Scriptaculous is also OK).
o Comfort and ease using multi-editor source control systems such as Subversion, Mercurial or Git.
o Strong LAMP/LAPP knowledge (Linux, Apache, Mysql/Postgres, PHP/PERL/Python).
o Comfortable developing on Linux using the Bash shell.
o Excellent English and communication skills.
o Experience coding in a team environment.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
o Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment and working knowledge of Agile methodologies a plus.
o Industry recognized certifications are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
– Development of web-based applications that use Linux, PHP, PostgreSQL, and the Zend Framework primarily targeting desktop browsers, mobile browsers and other businesses through web services
– Development of new features
– Help operations team fix a client’s problem
