Description:
Our Customer is a Danish leading producer of Voyage Data Recorders installed on the ships which cruise across the globe.
You will be working with products that are based on an application-specific design to ensure extremely high reliability. For instance:
– remote access solution between ship and shore which allows extremely easy and efficient data transfer without being limited by satellite capacity onboard vessels
– application to monitor and record the data from devices onboard (navigation systems, sensors throughout the ship).
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Requirements:
- Application developer for Linux/C++
- Experience preferably from product development rather than project development
- Knowledge and experience with commonly used TCP/UDP based networking protocols and IPC generally
- Designing and implementing with a clear focus on security aspects
- An independent personality who is not afraid to ask the relevant questions
- Knowledge/experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker and other commonly used CI tools
- Good English knowledge
- Ability to communicate with a Danish-speaking team (a Danish language level at least Intermediate).

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and development of application level software on Linux platforms used in a variety of products used in Maritime industry
- Supervision and implementation of developed software concepts
- Planning, implementation, integration, and testing of the developed software
