Job Responsibilities:

Documentation: Work with developers to document existing functionality, including APIs, functionality, data, side effects, and error cases. Architect how documentation will be presented. Design and implement solutions for keeping documentation up to date.
Publicity: Publicize functionality and approaches across the engineering organization.
Advocacy: Identify opportunities and engage with dev teams to advocate appropriate use of existing solutions and approaches.
Usability: Identify friction points preventing successful adoption of solutions, and advocate resolution.
Onboarding: Design onboarding process, to include documentation and exercises, to familiarize new developers with existing solutions.
By 3 months, you should understand the integration layer functionality, and have created an initial version of onboarding documentation and exercises.
By 6 months you should have documented significant integration points for the integration layer.
By 1 year you should have created a comprehensive guide for application platform developers, including documentation and exercises, and worked with developers to create a useful sample application to demonstrate the application platform.
