Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
Skills (for lead/P5)
5+ years of experience designing and implementing complex data-intensive systems.
5+ years of experience in ETL (Tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft etc.), data modeling.
5+ years of work experience with SQL experience in querying large data sets.
4+ years of work experience with Python with data manipulation orientation.
3+ years of work experience with any Business Intelligence tools (Preferred Tableau)
3+ years of work in projects using Kafka.
3+ years of experience in any of the cloud services (preferred GCP, AWS)
Experience in working with SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Workday, Splunk, Anaplan
Preferences:

Job Responsibilities:
Job Description of Data Engineer
6-8 Years of Data management experience supporting both transactional and OLAP systems
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT data architecture, data warehousing, and big data design
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
Hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling.
Hands-on experience with dimension modeling
Strong conceptual understanding of data normalization and de-denormalization techniques.
Expert knowledge of metadata management and maintaining, designing, creating, deploying, and managing data architecture and infrastructure.
Work hand in hand with leadership and other IT engineers in order to design, create and maintain data architectures that are scalable, fast, and robust and meet or surpass the requirements of the business.
Responsible that business data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, secure, and timely to support the mission and the activities
Design and build data pipelines to schedule & orchestrate a variety of tasks such as extracting, cleansing, transforming, enrich & loading data as per the business needs.
Performs technical design reviews and code reviews, including cloud-based architecture and integrations.
Implement new data applications in partnership with business users.
Get acquainted and provide support to company-wide data tools. He or she would slowly get to know all company data processes.
Develop recommendations and implement improvements to data quality controls and monitoring processes
Provide support to data technology project teams responsible for building out next-generation data quality capabilities.
