Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- .Net, Microsoft SQL, Web Applications (ASP.Net), Windows Services.
- Experience with Python.
- Database-driven systems; stored procedures, SSIS, etc.
- Other relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Centralised logging such as NewRelic or Data Dog.
- Source Control and CI/CD systems, such as Git.
- Jira and Confluence.
- Technical documentation, such as coding styles, branching strategies and functional specifications.
- Agile development practices and continuous improvement.
- Strong spoken & written English language skills.
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
- AWS hosting & managed services.
- Javascript.
- Non-relational databases such as Redis or MongoDB.
- Cloud data platforms o Data Warehouses, such as Snowflake, Redshift o Data Lakes & Cloud ELT/ETL o Distributed Processing & Querying, such as Spark and Athena.
- PDF extraction.
- Containerised and serverless architectural patterns, K8S/EKS & lambdas.
- Elasticsearch or Solr.
- Infrastructure automation & DevOps, such as Terraform.
Job Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for .Net software developers to enhance, optimise and maintain a number of .Net/SQL-based applications in the Trademarks business, ranging from data ingestion & management through to customer-facing web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a series of .Net applications and data ingestion processes.
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams using Scrum, to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
- Improve existing software and optimise performance & stability.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
