Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks
• Knowledge of client-side single-page applications using modern frameworks like React, Enact
• Prior experience as an Android Framework Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK
• Good understanding of Android components like Android IPC, Activity, Services, Broadcast receivers & Content providers is a must, along with sound knowledge of Android Internals, system UI and frameworks (like Activity Manager, Window Manager, Package Manager etc.)
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills, Experience in mobile domain is a plus
• Unit/integration testing experience,Experience working in a lean/agile development environment with remote teams
Preferences:
• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
• Experience with core browser engine functionality is desirable
• Proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance is an added advantage
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and assist in the development of web application to support internal and external clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with a team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions
• Rapidly prototype new ideas, concepts, and designs
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
• Research and develop new web and mobile technology applications to improve user interface
Responsibilities
• Write, modify, and debug web applications using technologies like JavaScript, HTML/ CSS, React/Enact etc.
• Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment
• Create modern and responsive layouts from designs and messaging provided by the creative team
• Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes in existing code
• Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews, and give actionable feedback
• Take end-to-end ownership of features & modules
