Job Title: UX Research Ops Lead

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Research Ops Lead to oversee and optimize our ConnectWise UX research operations. As the UX Research Ops Lead, you will play a critical role in streamlining and enhancing our research processes, ensuring the smooth execution of research studies, and driving the success of our user-centered design initiatives. You will collaborate closely with UX managers, UX researchers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality research outcomes and foster a culture of research excellence within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Help build and maintain the UX research operations framework, including research processes, tools, and resources.
Develop and implement standardized research methodologies, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across research projects.
Provide recurring management reporting reflecting UX research book of work and partner insights
Collaborate with UX researchers to define research project requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
Manage and maintain the research participant recruitment process, ensuring the availability of a diverse pool of participants for studies.
Streamline research logistics, including scheduling research sessions, organizing research materials, and managing research equipment or software.
Ensure efficient data collection, management, and analysis practices, adhering to privacy and data protection protocols.
Provide guidance and support to UX researchers on research planning, methodology selection, and study design.
Establish and maintain relationships with external research partners, vendors, and participant recruitment agencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into the product development lifecycle and decision-making processes.
Continuously assess and improve research operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging tools, and research methodologies, and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in UX research operations or a similar role, with a strong understanding of user research methodologies and practices.
Solid knowledge of research tools and platforms (e.g., user testing software like Maze, data analytics platforms like Pendo and Dovetail).
Proficiency in research project management, including planning, resource allocation, and coordination.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to derive meaningful insights from research data.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience in managing and mentoring junior research team members is preferred.
Demonstrated passion for user-centered design and a dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences.
