Engineering Manager with 12+ years of experience
Should have good understanding of Architecture and Java , Cloud based technologies.
Expert in project management, client handling and people management
Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM), PMP Certification
• Team Leadership & Development:
o Manage, mentor, and guide a team of software engineers >20 fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
o Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
o Recruit, onboard, and train new engineering talent.
• Project Management:
o Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
o Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
o Track and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and roadblocks.
• Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical direction and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, coding standards, and architecture.
o Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
• Strategic Planning:
o Contribute to the technical roadmap and strategic planning
o Align engineering efforts with broader company goals and objectives.
o Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet project needs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Facilitate communication and collaboration within the engineering team and across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
o Should have worked on any programming language, Java preferred for10 years
o Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
o Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Leadership & Soft Skills:
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
o Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Additional Attributes:
o Passion for technology and a drive for continuous improvement.
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
o Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
