Description
Successful candidate will take a leading role in cooperation with one of the leading communication service providers in EU.
Requirements
– German language (negotiation skills)
– Solution Architecture skills regarding designing IT system landcape including but not limited to application interfaces, deployment, runtime environment & hosting
– Knowledge about the following tools: RedHat OpenShift, Oracle Database or other database technologies (e.g. MySQL), F5 firewalls, various DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins)
– Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines & DevOps operations
– Knowledge of TOGAF or other architectural frameworks and standards
– Architecture know how in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
– Experience and exposure to containerization, code refactoring, or generally transforming an application cloud-ready
– Requirements Engineering
– Understanding of global deployment scenarios (especially taking into account China and the “Great Firewall”).
– Background in software development, operations or enterprise architecture management (e.g. application migration, solution architecture design, development of software architecture, experience in cloud migration, etc.)
– Bonus: know-how of Azure or AWS products & cloud architecture (e.g. certifications or project experience)
– Bonus: Understanding of software architecture
– Strong communication skills and assertiveness, confident appearance in front of the customer
Job Responsibilities
– Leading architecture advisory engagements with a general focus on application architecture, IT systems landscape, interface setup, deployment design and security considerations
– Architecture vision, checks & reviews
– Architecture advisory for IT systems landscape including hosting scenario, interface design, deployment process and security considerations
– Designing or conceptualizing solution architecture artifacts related to applications (usually phase-out candidates, introduction of new software or changes to the existing IT landscape)
– Identification of functional & non-functional requirements (incl. writing of user stories)
– Definition of target architecture for migration projects or within software development process, operations concept
– Integrate security, cloud aspects & technical architectural considerations
– Lead overall engagements, guide customers, facilitate calls and meetings together with project manager
