Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience developing Linux based consumer electronic products.
• Excellent C++ programming skills.
• Experience or knowledge with OpenGL/ES or Vulkan API on embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Linux or Android graphics driver design including kernel drivers, Vulkan, memory management, cross process synchronization, ARM Mali, surface sharing with DMAbuf and display drivers.
• Significant experience in API design and developing portable code.
• Proven track record of success with embedded Linux development projects.
• Deep background in one or more of the following: networking/Wi-Fi, audio/video streaming, embedded graphics, and/or embedded I/O.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Job Responsibilities
• Special focus on graphics, handling graphics technology stack on wide range of product configurations (GPU/no GPU)
• Develop and evolve the OS PAL to support new devices and new features.
• Build tools as needed to support platform portability.
• Write software that can be easily ported to new or existing platforms.
• Demonstrate excellence in C++ development and deliver high-performance, ultra-reliable software.
• Work both independently and in small groups to deliver new features and functionality on-time.
• Debug software issues with an eye to optimizing performance and improving product quality.
• Demonstrate the ability to dig-deep to find solutions to tough problems affecting our users.
