Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with database systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Design and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize application performance, including database performance tuning.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
