Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field
7+ years experience in software engineering
5+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails
Advanced relational DB experience with MySQL (or similar RDBMS)
Experience with NoSQL solutions like Redis
Experience in building RESTful APIs
Experience with any JavaScript libraries (JQuery, React, Vue, Angular)
Knowledge of software development methodology, patterns and best practices
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Experience in unit testing (RSpec)

Job Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into specifications and detailed designs
Design, build, test, and support Cheetah application server components, such as APIs,
database and business logic, and web-based UIs
Integrate with third-party solutions and APIs
Conduct thorough unit and automated testing
Conduct large-scale performance benchmarks and tune the system for high throughput
Deliver technical documentation for use by customers and partners
