Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
Strong in C and/or C++ programming for embedded systems.
Strong knowledge and expertise on RTOS platforms like VxWorks or any such RTOS kernels.
If one has embedded Linux experience but is willing to adapt to work in RTOS domain, we can consider them as well.
Work location – Bangalore (work from office)
Preferences:
Experience in performance and boot optimization would be added advantage.
Experience in Secure-boot is an added advantage
Job Responsibilities:
5 to 8 years of experience with Linux kernel is a must
Strong C/C++ programming skills
Board bring-up experience based on ARM
Experience in peripheral bring-up would be an added advantage.
Experience in customizing Linux Kernel and Device trees is a must.
Exposure to shell/python scripting and Makefiles
Strong knowledge of System memory management.
Strong system debugging skills using open-source tools
Experience in the Android platform and HAL layer is a must.
