Description:
Our Client is one of the leading providers of a comprehensive program that enables businesses to secure brand value and thrive commercially. They serve over 5000 clients on five continents!
The project we are working on is the largest technology transformation for the Client at the moment. It consists of Engineering and Data Science functions, with 180 people globally, aligned to Trademark Solutions or Online Brand Protection Business Units. Brand Protection has large-scale web crawling and workflow web applications (including browser plugins). The platform is tracking millions of product listings each day and a dataset in excess of 150TB.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience with React and TypeScript and 5+ years of front-end development in general
- Applying TypeScript for backend components
- Solid experience in CSS and Sass
- Love to practice functional programming
- Experience using, designing, and building REST APIs
- Experience in Git
- Capability to work remotely both autonomously and as a part of a team
- Proven track record of implementing outstanding look & feel applications
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
- Great communication and social skills
- Good eye for visual details
- Understanding of Node.js, Scala, SQL, Linux command line , and other backend technologies is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in an Agile Kanban team
- Plan and design and implement software applications, components, and interfaces.
- Perform pair programming and pull request reviews
