The trainee will be part of an automotive project
We are looking for an Test Engineer for an innovative project in the automotive industry. Our client is an automotive software company that combines software competencies and further expands them, building on a heritage of providing automotive innovation for future cars.
Project ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance) delivers a standalone 4G telematics solutions for vehicle connectivity, letting future electric car drivers enjoy the newest automotive features, innovative safety navigation, and entertainment services.

Requirements:
Main requirements:
We are looking for an open-minded and creative QA Engineer for test automation of embedded devices.
Your job will be manual, automated & hybrid testing of automotive HW control & telematics units, used in future cars; + delivering all related documentation and reports. You will work in international team, where main speaking language is English.
You will be working with embedded hardware on a daily basis.
General:
- Technical education in IT domain
- Analytical skills
- Demonstrable ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports, technical procedures, international standards, and regulations.
- Fundamental knowledge of different software development methods (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and software testing.
Job Responsibilities:
Project related:
- Basic (principal) knowledge in software testing
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Proactiveness, ability to autonomously generate ideas/solutions, sense of responsibility and ownership
- Good communication skills
- Upper intermediate (B2+) English skills
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in testing using industry standard test tools
- Python
- Robot Framework
- Embedded HW environments
- Experience in working with USB, IP, CAN or similar interfaces.
- You know what is the Bed of Nails
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
