Requirements:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Ability to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements in clear and concise formats.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and relationship-building skills to manage stakeholders, understand their needs, and align solutions with business goals.
Process Modeling & Analysis: Proficiency in modeling business processes (e.g., using BPMN, flowcharts) to map current and future states.
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems and propose effective solutions.
Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the specific business domain or industry to contextualize requirements.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including writing detailed reports and delivering presentations.
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of the stages of software development, especially testing phases, and how they integrate into the lifecycle.
Test Planning & Strategy: Ability to design effective test plans, strategies, and scenarios based on requirements to cover various cases (happy path, edge cases, negative testing).
Test Case Design & Execution: Skill in writing detailed test cases and scripts based on functional and technical requirements. Hands-on ability to execute these tests manually.
Defect Reporting & Tracking: Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) to report, manage, and track defects through their lifecycle.
Attention to Detail: Precision in identifying and reporting bugs, edge cases, and inconsistencies in software functionality or UI.
Exploratory Testing: Capability to perform ad-hoc, experience-based testing to uncover hidden issues.
